Bullet Proof Schools and Bullet Resistant Classrooms - Protection from School Shootings

Bullet Resistant Schools and Bullet Proof Classrooms? It's an unpleasant subject and one that everyone would rather not discuss. Unfortunately, recent school shootings across the nation have triggered the question of whether a bullet proof schools and bullet resistant classrooms in our schools are necessary. Many question whether a bullet resistant panic room or a known secured bullet proof classroom in our schools would help provide a safe area and hopefully save lives in the event of a school shooting

Although an unpleasant idea, Protective Structures has given thought to this dilemna. Through a variety of measures, security for schools can be provided without implementing "jail like" systems. Appropriate school design and layout can provide protection to both students and staff. Protective Structures has the matierials and the know-how. PSL can provide design and installation for bullet resistance to any school or classroom. Protective Structures can design, fabricate and install a complete bullet proof classroom, safe area or panic room that will not only be pleasing to the eye, but will also offer maximum protection for the innocent. More importantly, PSL can work with architects to help with new school designs and help prevent tragedies like this from happening.

We at PSL find such attrocities appalling and in no way do we wish to capitalize on gun violence in schools. However, it is in our interest and it is our business to protect innocent lives from harm.

We at PSL truly wish that the need for bullet resistant materials in any school and classroom were just the product of an overactive paranoid imagination. Unfortunately, current events dictate otherwise. Our sincerest heartfelt condolences to all those who have lost their children and loved ones in the recent rash of school shootings.
